The ubiquitous telephone booths,
quirky decorations,
Strelitzias
– bigger than you’d think –
and of course the shoppers.
When you stop expecting people to be perfect,
you can like them for who they are.
― Donald Miller

Now that I think of it, I believe Donald Miller and you are both right!
A house in my old neighbourhood had the whole roof covered with googly things that moved in the wind. The second picture reminded me. The phone booths here are glass boxes, but nowadays are few and far between. I like the ‘bonnets’ of the ones in your picture.
But it’s such a hard lesson!
Yes the phone booths are cute, and they’re still everywhere in São Paulo, as not everyone can afford a mobile phone. They come in different colours and widely varying heights. Like oversized Easter eggs, I thought.
Bravo pour ces belles photos.
