We can’t hold on to it but we can leave a little bit of ourselves in each grain that passes through our hands as time slips by. It’s not in the holding but in the flowing. Like a river that passes over every stone it washes each one of us. It smooths us and polishes us for the conclusion which is to pass on to others a bit of ourselves, good or bad it is what it is. Time is the one constant we can rely on, it’s ever present, it has always been, and will always be. Just like God.

Technically though, I believe, time started with the universe though, and will die with it. Not that our human understanding can grasp it 😉
